Since 2021, The Quality Group is home to the brands ESN and More Nutrition. In 2022, we expanded our portfolio with the acquisition of Foodist. We strive to offer our customers high-quality products that enhance their health and performance. We are pursuing this goal with great passion and have developed a unique digital direct-to-consumer & social commerce business model. Our products are developed and produced in-house with the highest quality standards.

The Quality Group operates three main brands
ESN: Founded in 2004, ESN has established itself as the German market leader in sports nutrition and the go-to-brand for high performance. ESN offers a wide range of products, such as protein powders, protein bars and supplements, to support ambitious training goals and enhance individual physical capabilities. Operating its own production site in Germany, the brand is dedicated to provide only highest-quality sports nutrition and supplements, made for athletes.
More Nutrition: Established in 2017, More Nutrition is the primary provider of health nutrition products and weight loss supplements in Germany. More Nutrition offers a wide range of low-calorie and protein-rich products as well as supplements, to enable a healthier lifestyle without sacrifice or compromise.
Foodist: Since its founding in 2012, Foodist has been one of the leading brands in the area of natural enjoyment: short ingredient lists, highest quality and no artificial flavors; everything 100% vegan. Whether peanut butter or cream bars – the exciting range inspires not only fans of plant-based nutrition.
The Quality Group's business has been expanding swiftly. With annual sales amounting to more than EUR 680 (2023) million, The Quality Group is on a strong growth trajectory and shows healthy profitability. The Group is managed by a world-class leadership team: Since 2022, The Quality Group has been jointly owned by its founders, an experienced management team and CVC Capital Partners, one of the leading private equity investors in the world. CVC's network comprises 25 offices globally, making it one of the most geographically diverse and longest-established networks of any private equity or credit investor worldwide. CVC’s mission is to build better businesses in partnerships alongside founders and families. In the DACH region, CVC is well-known for its investments in companies like Evonik, Douglas and Breitling as well as a long-standing partner of the RAG Stiftung.

Our Leadership-Team
Heikki Takala has been CEO of The Quality Group since May 2024 and is therefore responsible for the overall management of the company, its continuous development and international expansion. As an experienced leader, he brings a global perspective and extensive experience in successfully building international brands and organizations and has been a member of The Quality Group's Advisory Board since 2022. Originally with P&G for 18 years in various pan-European and global leadership roles, Heikki achieved industry-leading results as CEO of Amer Sports with a portfolio of world-class sports and sports lifestyle brands such as Arc'teryx, Salomon, Wilson, Atomic and Peak Performance.
